A Cute Little House ....... SKoW

With the looming deadline for the SAL fast approaching and a weekend of study, I've spent the past few evenings putting this cute little house together.

Today was a beautiful day here in our region and what I wanted to do was get out into my poor neglected garden but instead I spent the day inside a classroom gazing occasionally out the window. I think watching paint dry would have been more exciting than the subject we looked at today. Oh well, lets hope the teacher can put a little life into it tomorrow.

When I got home today, Chicka had picked this beautiful Daffodil flower for me.
Such a sweet thing to do, Thank you my girl - I love you xoxox

I hope you found some time do to something you love this weekend!

SKoW & TTS Progress

It was a very cold winters weekend here so after watching Chicka play netball we all headed home to some sweet potato soup that I had simmering in the pot while we were out ........Yummy
Everyone wandered off to do their own thing including me.

SKoW..... Our Cat - Milo

and a wooden chair

Sunday was spent on the side of the soccer field at Bathurst. Unfortunately The Home Patch wasn't open, so I couldn't sneak away for a little retail therapy - lucky I had packed a little project from home.

TTS ....... ooopppps a sideways Penguin (may block)
Bon Noel (April Block)

Monday night was spent at my machine, first the boarders and then my first row all together!

It's so good having a few spare hours to spend sewing.

Checking in.......& SKoW progress!

Life for my over the past 4 to 5 months has been quite hectic (like everyone else - I know..........

Where have I been ????

Well............... unfortunately the child care industry has undergone some major changes and I've had to upgrade my qualifications. So I have been doing assignment after assignment*sigh*

Last weekend I must have known that Chooky was looking for her whip.......
beacuse I managed to do 3 more blocks for my SKoW. Its amazing what you can get done when you have a day at home and no assignments due!

I think I only have 4 blocks left to do, so hopefully with no assignments to do this weekend I can get a few more done to meet the deadline.

Until Next Time - Happy Stitching xox
